The Endless Struggle
0UGX 30,000Life is a continuous struggle, a new chapter had opened for Bogo, the curtains had closed and new possibilities were
coming but a lot of uncertainty lies ahead.
The Endless Struggle is an exposition of the experiences facedwhen a person considered to have hit the jackpot is faced with daily requests for black tax from the people that surround them, often out of a deeply ingrained sense of family responsibility.
Bogo, having weathered the storm in early life is faced with the unpalatable reality of having to meet the expectations of his people. His incomes fail to meet the demands and he faces a near crisis. But as fate would have it, Bogo’s
mother gets a terminal illness and he has to take care of the medical bills alongside other incessant requirements. -
Wings That Got Me Soaring
0UGX 25,000In this narrative of streams of his life Engineer Badru Kiggundu blends his voice with that of family, friends and those he has worked with to weave a narrative that explores the life and time of an Africa’s journey in the Diaspora but with his umbilical cord unserved. These are narratives of an intelligent and industrious man. They are measured tales of love and separation, of reflection and hope, revealing voice of silence. They are reflections on fatherhood, love and responsibility: these are subtexts of our time, challenges of our heritage. These are memories and tensions that we can find our place in.
